Before joining the FOX group, Sandy worked as a News Anchor and Reporter for the 9 p.m. news at KPLR-TV for three years from 1995 to 1998. She additionally served 3 years as the Director of Marketing for Koplar Communications before her mooring and announcing obligations. Notwithstanding news media, Sandy has gone through more than 10 years in corporate TV working as a show host for Anheuser-Busch, STIHL-TV, Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and numerous others. Host marketing shows for Anheuser-Busch, INC. The shows are internal communications directed at employees and wholesalers of A-B, Inbev.

Aside from her journalism career, Sandy is a former Miss Missouri. In 1984, she won the competition, Miss Missouri. She got to travel to L.A., DC, NY, Hawaii and even the Bahamas. After a few years, she competed again in the Miss Missouri USA Pageant which she placed third. She’s associated with numerous network associations and volunteers for various philanthropies. A portion of the associations she appreciates giving time to incorporate the Missouri Humane Society, United Cerebral Palsy and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
