Anthony Cavalero is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his role as Dewey Finn on the 2016 Nickelodeon television series School of Rock. He stars in the film alongside Breanna Yde, Ricardo Hurtado, Jade Pettyjohn, Lance Lim, Aidan Miner, and Jama Williamson.

He went to middle school at Poe Middle School, graduating from Annandale High School, not far from Washington, DC. Anthony is an Eagle Scout and a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.
He is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute where he learned to be a soldier, as well as playing 4 years of Div I lacrosse. Cavalero moved to Los Angeles in 2006 and studied theater at CalStLA. He is a main company member of The Groundlings.
