Rebecca Petit is an American journalist of Haitian descent working for WFTS as a multimedia journalist and reporter leading ABC Action News broadcast in Polk County. She joined the station in December 2020. Previously, she worked in Huntsville, Alabama at WZDX FOX54 as a multimedia journalist and a weekend substitute anchor.

Further, she serves as a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. She has a passion for telling stories of local communities and giving a voice to the people. During ehr free time, she is at the beach, explores the outdoors, travels, and spends time with her family and dog.
