Jennifer Robbins Biography
Jennifer Robbins is an American meteorologist working for HNN as the chief meteorologist since joining the station in September 2012. Previously, she worked for KABC as a meteorologist for three years.

Robbins joined San Francisco State University where she majored in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. She graduated with a Bachelor Of Science degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. Additionally, she has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. During her time in college, she worked for KRON in San Francisco and KNSD in San Diego as an intern. She attended high school at Coronado High School.

Before relocating to Hawaii, she worked in Los Angeles at KABC as a broadcast meteorologist and primetime weather producer. There, she learned several weather moves from meteorologist Dallas Raines. Before that, she worked in Boise, Idaho at KBOI as a broadcast meteorologist and environmental reporter. She served the County of San Diego in its Media and Public Relations unit and the Air Pollution Control District.
Aside from meteorology, Robbins loves to volunteer in the community and visit schools. She has a mission to thrill students about the Earth Sciences and encourage them to involve themselves with the world of science and mathematics.
