Jason Stiff Biography
Jason Stiff is an American meteorologist working for KTVQ as a meteorologist since joining the station in September 2023. Previously, he worked for Action News Now in Chico, California as the chief meteorologist.

Stiff joined the University of Utah in 1994 and later graduated cum laude with a Bachelor Of Science degree in Meteorology. During his time in college, he worked in Salt Lake City at the National Weather Service for 4 years. In 1997, he received a Master Of Science degree in Meteorology.

Stiff works for KTVQ as a meteorologist. His interest in the weather started when he was very young. He thinks weather forecasting is exciting, important, and responsible. The Montana native previously worked in Utah, Idaho, Washington, New Mexico, and California before moving back to Montana.
The American Meteorological Society (AMS) gave him its Seal of Approval in 1998 and the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation in 2005. Aside from meteorology, he loves astronomy. During clear nights, he looks up at the sky in search of stars and planets.
