Gianna Cefalu is an American Sports Anchor working for KLEW TV in Lewiston serving as a sports director. She joined the station in June 2022, after previously working as a sports media intern at Pac-12 Networks in San Francisco.

Immediately after graduating from high school, Gianna attended the University of Utah in 2017 where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies and Communication in 2021. While in College, she worked as a video production intern at Campus Station from June 2018 to April 2019. Her roles included operating cameras for basketball and assisted input information for graphics.
In August 2019, she got her first internship at K- UTE Radion in Salt Lake, Utah working there from August 2019 to October 2020. Later on, Cefalu accepted a position as an executive director at the same radio station. While there, she was in charge of conducting interviews writing, and managing camera equipment.

Cefalu works as a sports director at KLEW TV in Lewiston, Idaho. She also anchors the Happy Day Sports Desk at 5 pm, 6 pm, and 11 pm and edits feature packages. On top of this, Gianna also creates weekly pregames for High School Football as well as conducts interviews with coaches.
Before joining KLEW TV in June 2022, she worked as a sports media intern at Pac-12 Networks in San Francisco, California. While there, Gianna wrote recaps games for archive content and delivered code for women’s and men’s basketball schedules. She also delivered game-clipped features and helped with research projects. On top of this, Cefalu also worked as a production assistant at Pac-12 Networks from January 2021 to May 2021.
She previously worked for Arroyo Seco Saints as an intern from June 2021 to August 2021. Cefalu also hosted her show titled 270 Ft. With a Saint and conducted interviews with coaches and players. Gianna started her professional career as a sports writer at The Daily Utah Chronicle in Salt Lake City. During her time there, she wrote recaps games and conducted interviews with coaches and athletes. She served the station for six months from November 2017 to Apil 2018.
Apart from working as a journalist, Cefalu worked as a guest service representative for the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City. Her duties at the company were solving problems that may arise and guiding guests through the arena.
