During his time there, he was in charge of updated weather events and provided news for the station. He served the station for two years and seven months from July 2017 to January 2020.
Earlier, Gary worked for WBML & WXKO as a TV personality from June 2014 to April 2017. Prior to joining WBML-TV, Thigpen worked as a co-host and news at WPGA TV from March 2012 to January 2014. He started his career at WJTG Radio Station as a radio personality from March 2009 to August 2012.
