Kylie Bearse Biography

Kylie Bearse is an American meteorologist working for FOX 31 Denver as a weekday morning meteorologist since joining the station in April 2021. Previously, she worked for KUSA 9NEWS in Denver, Colorado, as a meteorologist and content creator for 3 years.

Bearse joined the University of Colorado Boulder in 2007 after finishing her high school education. In 2011, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism and a Certificate in International Media and Leadership. That same year, she studied abroad at Umbra Institute, Perugia, Italy.

While in college, Bearse started her forecasting career by doing ski reports on the campus sports program. In 2013, she joined Mississippi State University, where she obtained a Broadcast Meteorology Certificate in 2016.

As the daughter of a pediatric nurse, Bearse spends a lot of time with children in hospitals, where she either features them and programs, volunteers, or fundraises. In 2025, Bearse shared on her social media that she was being stalked by a 69-year-old man. She said that the stalker claimed she was his wife, messaged her repeatedly, sent messages to her family and friends, and made new accounts whenever she blocked him. He even showed up to events she hosted, once with an unwanted gift, and found her personal cell number.

Bearse obtained a temporary restraining order in September 2023, which he violated more than 50 times. After six months of stalking, she obtained a permanent restraining order in January 2024. Following this, he didn’t disturb her for about 18 months until September 18, 2025, when he followed her home from work. Upon spotting him, she called the police, and he was arrested for violating an order, a misdemeanor charge. He was released from jail on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond a few days after his arrest.

Bearse said that she found a new home after the incident and felt disheartened that he was free after stalking her for years. She said that she hopes she helps other women through her story.
