Bruce Haertl is an American journalist working for FOX 31 Denver as a sports anchor and reporter. He joined FOX31 and Channel 2 in May 2016, after spending four years as a freelance play-by-play announcer.

Haertl served the K-State Football Radio Network for 10 years. Additionally, he spent 15 seasons as the TV voice of Wichita State basketball and baseball. After graduating from college, he launched his broadcasting career at KWCH in Wichita in October 1984. He spent 28 years there as KWCH’s sports director. In this capacity, he broadcast seven College World Series, 24 NCAA Tournaments, seven Final Fours, three World Series, and 19 bowl games, including four BCS games.
