Because of his anchoring team coverage of the January 4, 2018, Tri-State blizzard, he was awarded a New York Emmy. Prior to working at NBC 4 New York, he worked for NBC6/WTVJ as a weekday news and sports anchor for more than a decade. During his stint there, he covered three presidential elections and reported from the 2012 presidential debate at Lynn University.
