Adeel Akhtar Education
Akhtar went to school at Cheltenham CollegeJunior School from 1991 to 1994, and then he transferred to Cheltenham College in Newick House where he completed in 1999. After that, he joined Oxford Brookes University where he attained a degree in law in 2002. Later on, he changed his mind and started attending acting training at the Actors Studio Drama School in New York.

Akhtar started his professional career appearing in small roles like Conviction, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Traitor, Stranger Things, and The Dictator. From there, he landed a big role in one of Chris Morris’s films Four Lions. After that, Adeel appeared in a hit series Utopia where he played Wilson Wilson on Channel 4. For his performance in the series, Adeel was nominated for Best Supporting Actor by BAFTA Organisation.
Following his success, Akhtar went on to star in another BBC mini-series Capital where he played alongside Toby Jones as shopkeeper Ahmed. He also obtained the British Academy Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in British drama Sherwood. In 2013, Akhtar starred as Aditya Singh in the Netflix series Sweet Tooth, in which he won two Emmy Awards for his performance in the series.
