He is the co-anchor of the NBC4 morning newscast “Today in LA” airing weekdays from 4 to 7 a.m. He joined NBC4 in August 2013 as an anchor and general assignment reporter for the weekend newscast of “Today in LA” and reported on the NBC4 News at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 11 p.m. At NBC4, he has covered many stories in the Southland including co-anchoring Emmy-award-winning coverage of the Old Fire in Calabasas in 2016 and the rash of wildfires that struck Southern California in 2019.
He was among the first on the air following the Borderline Bar Mass Shooting in Thousand Oaks, CA; the Las Vegas country music concert massacre, and the tragic shooting at Saugus High School. Also, he has anchored special extended coverage of the civil unrest in Los Angeles following George Floyd’s death and co-anchored the station’s Dodgers 2018 World Series coverage from the field at Dodger Stadium. Prior to joining NBC4, he worked for KDFW-TV as an anchor reporter from July 2007 to July 2013. There, he was a weekend morning anchor and reporter and covered the murder of NAVY Seal and U.S. war hero Chris Kyle, the Fort Hood terror attack, and numerous hurricanes and tornadoes.
Also, he was a general assignment reporter for KLAS in Las Vegas and served as bureau chief for KGBT in Brownsville, Texas. From 2004 to 2007, he was a Reporter at KLAS-TV | 8 News NOW. Adrian has participated in several worthy causes and supported NBC4’s community outreach events such as its annual Clear the Shelters pet adoption drive. Because of his exemplary work, he has received a Golden Mike award from the Radio, and Television News Association, several Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Las Vegas, and two Las Vegas Electronics Media Awards.
