Alan Longstreet is an American meteorologist working for Fox 2. He is on the wake-up-at-2 am-on-air-by-4 am shift and he likes it.

His home to Lake Michigan was half an hour; it was both the best and the worst experience. Summer is best for obvious reasons; incredible sunsets, gorgeous beaches, huge dunes, etc, etc. After summer, winter is experienced and lake-effect snow hits one like a ton of bricks and doesn’t let up for what feels like a year and a half.

While his heart yearns for the west side in the summer, he is thrilled to spend his winters three hours away. Weather is fascinating, frustrating, and wonderful. He is blessed to work with the morning gang and thank you all for watching!
