Alan Rose Biography
Alan Rose is an American meteorologist working for KOAA as a weekday morning meteorologist since joining the station in the fall of 2019. Previously, he worked in Santa Barbara, California at KEYT/KKFK/KCOY/Central Coast News as the chief meteorologist for more than a decade.

Rose joined the University of Alabama in 1996 when he finished his high school education. In 2000, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. While in college, he was a springboard and platform diver competitor. In this capacity, he represented the university on a national level on the 10-meter platform. Also, he holds a Master’s degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
