Littlehales attended the University of Maryland’s Merrill College of Journalism in 2014 after completing his high school education. When he finished his studies in 2018, he became a graduate and attained a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Littlehales works for 13News Now as a reporter and multi-skilled journalist. He joined the station in the fall of 2020. Previously, he worked in Savannah, Georgia at WJCL 22 News. For months, he reported about COVID-19’s impacts on everyday life in southeast Georgia, when it started to spread.
Littlehales covered everything including details on local mask directives, businesses financially affected by the pandemic, and inspiring stories that spotlighted the suppleness and positivity of the community through the outbreak.
Aside from COVID-19, he broadcasted that attained national attention including court proceedings about the Ahmaud Arbery case, the vanishing and demise of 18-year-old Malik Spencer, and the ‘Golden Ray’ overturned ship off the coast of Georgia.
Littlehales served on a team that broadcasted various breaking stories such as social justice protests all over the Savannah region and the descent of a lethal tornado in rural South Carolina. He prides himself on visual storytelling and enjoys telling human feature stories and those that aid deprived communities
His interest in TV started when he reported and anchored for the University of Maryland’s CNS-TV. For his work, he has received several awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, the MDDC Press Association, and the Broadcast Education Association.
