Allison Rosati is an American award-winning anchor/reporter working for NBC 5 in Chicago where she anchors NBC 5 News alongside Rob Stafford at 5 pm, 6 pm, and 10 p.m. She has been working for the station since joining the team in August 1990.

Rosati attended Gustavus Adolphus College and graduated with a double major in speech and communications and received cum laude honors in 1985. She has been honored with the college’s Distinguished Alumni award for her achievements in journalism and its First Decade Award.

Rosati anchors NBC 5 News alongside Rob Stafford at 5 pm, 6 pm, and 10 p.m. She started by reporting the early evening news for five years. She was later promoted to co-anchor of NBC 5’s 10 p.m. newscast in May 1997. Initially from Pine City, Minnesota, she began her profession in Rochester, Minnesota at KTTC-TV in 1985. She was hired by WGRZ-TV in Buffalo, in July of 1987, New York to anchor and report the 6 & 11 p.m. newscasts.

She has been honored with many local and national awards for her task on series, news, and unique results in our communities. Rosati, the Emmy award-winning “Wednesday’s Child” arises in numerous adoptions for kids looking for forever families. The Television allowed her to labor on the “Smart Choices, Safe Kids” unique with a national Gracie Award and American Women in Radio.

The program enhanced learning for parents and children about child predators and how to recognize the lures they use. However, she earned the prestigious Dante Award from the Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans an annual award to report an anchor who is “not a timid friend to truth.”

So whether or not she is being venerated through the neighborhood battle veterans corporation for her aid of the troops, or out within the neighborhoods to interview ladies for the political pulse of our times, Allison is understood and applauded for her commitment, integrity, and Passion.
