Alyssa Andrews is an American meteorologist working for WBZ-TV serving as a meteorologist. She joined the station in September 2023, after working as a meteorologist and journalist at WT-TV in Indianapolis.

Andrews attended Indiana University Bloomington, earning a bachelor’s degree in social media journalism and telecommunication. While in college, she worked as a sports reporter covering news from NCAA basketball, NBA, IndyCar, and NFL. After that, she joined Mississippi State University where she attained a Master’s degree in Meteorology. Alyssa was also an active member of the International Geographical Honors Society and Gamma Theta Upsilon.

Prior to working for Morris Media, Andrews was a journalist at WTWO, the NBC2 affiliate in Terre Haute. She worked for the station for three years from January 2016 to December 2018. Earlier, Alyssa spent more than three years working for Big Ten Network as a sideline reporter. While there, she covered various sports events including baseball, field hockey, basketball, and soccer.
Alyssa began her broadcasting career as a sports reporter at WXIN-TV, the Fox 59 affiliate in Indianapolis. There, she served the station for one year and nine months from May 2013 to January 2015. Before that, Andrews worked for Emmis Communications for four months as a radio presenter from May 2012 to August 2012. Over the years, she has covered multiple weather coverage including historic droughts, extreme heat waves, and several ice storms. In addition, Alyssa is also a volunteer at Keep Massachusetts Beautiful organization.
