Alyssa Charlston is an American sports anchor and reporter working for KCPQ-TV as a sports reporter and anchor. Previously, she worked as a sideline reporter and basketball color analyst at Pac-12 Networks.

Charleston attended Eastlake High School in 2007 and graduated in 2010 where she played basketball and volleyball. She then enrolled at Idoho University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Digital Media and Broadcast Journalism in 2014.
During her time in college, Alyssa was a member of the basketball team which won various titles such as two Western Athletic Conference championships, and two academic All-Americans. She also served as a sports reporter and assistant producer at Inside the Vandals from September 2012 to December 2014. From there, she was hired as an arena announcer before later being promoted to multimedia reporter at Idoho TV station.

Before joining the station in June 2021, she worked at Pac-12 Networks where she served as a sideline reporter and basketball color analyst. During her period there, Alyssa covered major sports events mainly women’s college basketball, and conducted interviews with players and coaches. Previously, she spent one year working in Spokane, Washington as a digital content creator at Gonzaga University. Charleston also served as a play-by-play announcer for WCC Network, covering women’s volleyball & basketball games.
Prior to working in Spokane, Alyssa was a host at UW Football’s HuskyTron for three months. Her duties at the station included hosting pregames, engaging with fans, and delivering game analysis. Charlston began her journalism career as a sports anchor and MMJ at KXLY-TV News 4 Bureau in Spokane, Washington. She also reported various significant news including the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Mariners, and the NCAA tournament in Gonzaga. Charlston served the station for three years and five months from August 2017 to December 2020.
In addition to this, Alyssa also worked as a reporter and videographer at the University of Washington Intercollegiate Athletics. There, she was in charge of editing creative video content, producing video content, and shooting live games. Earlier, Charlston worked for the Big Sky Conference in Reno where she served as an arena announcer from March 2016 to April 2016. Before that, she spent four months working as a color analyst at Learfield IMG College. On top of this, she also worked in Seattle where she served as a promotions assistant at 710ESPN & KIRO Radio for four months.
