Amanda Arnold is an American anchor and multimedia journalist working for WDHN serving the station as a Weekday Anchor. She has been working for the station since joining on April 27, 2020.

Arnold serves as an anchor every weekday behind the WDHN anchor desk at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m. bringing the Wiregrass reliable news coverage. She previously served as the co-anchor, anchor, and producer of the morning show, Wake Up Wiregrass, from 5-7 AM. Arnold went to the University of Iowa where she graduated cum laude.

She had also worked for other stations prior to joining WDHN. For instance, she previously worked for KHOU where she anchored the station’s 5, 6, & 10 PM newscasts for about five years. Amanda also worked for other stations all across Cleveland, Des Moines, Baltimore, and Louisville.

Arnold also spent several years working for Dothan Magazine where she served as a freelance writer, video producer, speechwriter, and consultant. In addition to that, she also for local non-profit organizations and foundations where she served as a fundraiser and a public relations executive.

She went to Florida State University where she attained her Master of Arts degree in Communications and Media Studies in 2009. Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.
