Masuku works at SABC News where she serves as a senior weather anchor as part of the Morning Live team. She served as a weather anchor and a meteorologist since joining the network in 2009. Previously, she tenured at e-tv where she served as a weather presenter and data compiler. Having a variety of qualifications from a certificate in instrument technology, data and radar monitoring, and meteorology. In February 2015, she was also tenured as a Stakeholder Liaison officer by the City of Johannesburg. She later resigned in July 2016.

She has also been tenured both in Swaziland and South Africa as a meteorologist. Masuku has also been tenured as a self-employed Meteorologist since February 2009 to date.
