As a result, she called a local news reporter after her mother pushed her to call the local NBC affiliate in her hometown to learn about TV news.
After graduating college, Lutz did several TV reporting jobs all over Montana and Idaho where she refined her storytelling skills. During her career, she has won an Emmy nomination, awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, a regional Edward R. Murrow award, and various Montana Broadcaster Awards.
