Andrew Donovan is an American journalist working for WSYR as a senior reporter since joining the station in July 2013. Since January 2022, he has hosted Newsmakers, a local public affairs program airing multiple times on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays on NewsChannel 9. He has served the station for more than a decade.

Donovan joined Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 2008 when he finished his education at Whitesboro High School. In 2012, he graduated with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in History and Political Science. While in college, he was an intern at NBC News at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York in the summer of 2010. His stint with the station began when he was in high school. He was an off-screen contributor to NBC News’ broadcast of the Second Inauguration of Barack Obama from their studios on Capitol Hill in January 2013.
