Andrew Siff is a well-known Emmy Award-winning Journalist working for NBC 4 New York. He is the television News Reporter at the station. And he reports on transportation, governmental affairs, politics, and general assignment issues. He regularly appears on weekdays at 4 pm, 5 pm, and 6 pm. He joined NBC 4 New York in May 2004.
His reporting was a key component of NBC 4 New York’s award-winning COVID-19 coverage honored in January 2021 with the prestigious Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award for creating a 360 view in real time of the coronavirus pandemic with courageous and thorough reporting on the virus’ explosion in New York City. Andrew is a 12-time New York Emmy Award winner. In both 2018 and 2019, he was recognized as the market’s top transportation and traffic reporter. From 1996 to 2001, he was a Television Reporter at WKBW-TV. For five years, he was the primary lead reporter. His assignments included blizzards (aplenty) the Buffalo Sabres (trip to the Stanley Cup) and Cold Cases– a fresh look at unsolved crimes with chief photographer Scott MacDowell.

Prior to that, he worked for WTVH-TV as a Television Reporter. He also worked for WEEK-TV as a Television Reporter from 1991 to 1994. There, he covered one of the biggest labor disputes in the country. He is an avid Yankees fan who covered the historic 2019 “London Series” featuring the Bronx Bombers and Boston Red Sox. Also, he is a passionate fan of the New York Giants.
