Andy Carson is an American Meteorologist working with KPTV FOX 2 News where he serves the station as a Weatherman. Prior to this, he was working on the FOX 12 -sponsored team called “Real News, Fake Runners.”

Carson works with KPTV FOX 2 News where he serves the station as a Meteorologist. He has been around for as long as Good Day Oregon. He happens to be one of the original members of GDO, alongside Tony Martinez. This was in the month of August 1996. For him, traveling with his wife is the plan for weekends and occasional vacations. He has been running for years, which include over a half dozen Hood to Coast races, one ultramarathon 40 miles on his 40th birthday, and four marathons.

On the 12th of December year 2017, he started streaking, but with clothes. For him, the rule is, that he has to run at least 1 mile daily, no matter what. This is whether he is sick or stuck at an airport, in the middle of cycle Oregon. He states that once he hits a year, he gets to join an online club of other streakers and see how long he can keep the streak alive.

Asides from his duties doing weather on Good Day Oregon, he also does a segment titled “Andy’s Adventures.” He and his friend photographer, Uncle Rico, travel all over the state of Oregon, into Washington, and even Canada for adventures.
