Goff is a reporter and anchor at FOX 5 based in Washington D.C. She joined the station in July 2019 as a news anchor of the station’s newly launched 4 pm newscast and 7 pm “Like It Or Not” roundtable. Prior to joining FOX 5 News, she worked for NBC News’ Early Today and filled in as a host for Early TODAY and MSNBC. She has an experience of over a decade in the journalism industry. Goff has covered everything from the Royal Wedding across the pond, the hurricanes in South Carolina, and caucuses in Iowa.
In addition to that, she has anchored breaking stories for network and local broadcasts including the Congressional baseball shooting in Alexandria, Pope Francis’ U.S. visit, and the Charleston church massacre. During her time living in Los Angeles, California, she got her first job in television reporting for public-access television cable TV station Torrance CitiCable. In the course of that time, she served as the personal assistant to Entertainment Tonight anchor Mark Steines.
From there, she joined CBS affiliate KMEG-TV in Sioux City, Iowa where she worked as a morning anchor and reporter. The next stop was in Columbia South Carolina working at WIS-TV from 2004 -2007. During her time there, she served as a news anchor and reporter. After working there for some time, she headed to the Washington DC CBS Affiliate WUSA where she worked as a traffic and entertainment reporter.
Goff has also worked in radio. In November 2010, she joined the WVRX radio station “105.9 The Edge” as a member of the “Kirk and Mike” morning show hosted by Mike O’Meara and Kirk McEwen. She left WUSA to join WRC-TV in August 2011. There she served as a weekend morning anchor and reporter. Before her departure from WRC-TV, she was a member of Today show’s Parenting Team. Furthermore, she appeared in the fourth hour of the program discussing parenting topics with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford.
