Pierret graduated from Nolan Catholic High School in 2010 and then enrolled at Boston University Sydney Academic Center where she attained a degree in Communications & Media Studies in 2013. After that, she furthered her study at Fordham University where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Communication in 2014.

Ann served the station for five years and two months as a news journalist from September 2016 to October 2021. She also covered significant news like Kevin Bacon’s death, community events, and several weather events. Earlier, she spent two years working in Lansing, Michigan as a multimedia journalist at WILX-TV.
Ann previously served as a production intern at CBS This Morning in New York. She started her career as an anchor and reporter at WFUV in New York. During her tenure there, she covered a wide range of news such as trials, corruption, and government affairs. Before coming to New York, Pierret worked for NBCUniversal as a Morning Joe production intern from August 2013 to December 2013. Besides this, she served as an intern at WPIX-TV in New York City from June 2012 to August 2012.
Apart from working as a journalist, Ann worked for Texas Rangers Baseball Club as a sales associate. Later on, she was hired as a YouTube commentator and anchor at Wake Up Wednesday. There, she creates segments mainly forcusing on entertainment, sports, and weather. In July 2006, she worked as an announcer at the City of Arlington for seven months.
In addition to this, Pierret also worked with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as a production assistant. She has also been involved in various community organizations such as the Rose Hill Senior Apartments, Global Outreach – Fordham University, and Grand Blanc Community Schools. Currently, she serves as a blood donor at the American Red Cross.
