Fischer attended Columbus Catholic Middle & High School where she earned her Diploma in General Education. From there, she joined the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, Public Communication, and Advocacy in May 2023. While there, Anna worked for The Racquet, a student-run news source where she served as a reporter.
Anna works as a multimedia journalist and reporter at KATC News in Lafayette, Louisiana. She has been with the station for more than seven months since she joined in August 2023. Before joining the KATC News team, Fischer worked for WKBT News 8 Now, the CBS affiliate station in La Crosse, Wisconsin. While there, she served the station as a multimedia journalist for less than a year.
