Austin Green Biography

Austin Green is an American meteorologist working for WJCL as a weekend evening meteorologist since joining the station in July 2025. Previously, he worked as a FOX 35 Orlando Storm Team Intern and a National Weather Service Student Volunteer.

Green joined Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach in August 2021 after finishing his high school education. In May 2025, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology with a minor in Communication & Broadcast Media.

While in college, Green worked as an intern with the National Weather Service in Melbourne, Florida, where he learned about operational Meteorology. He also interned at a TV station in Orlando, where he developed a love for broadcasting. Moreover, he was a National Weather Service Student Volunteer.
