Avan Jogia is a Canadian actor who gained fame for portraying Beck Oliver in Nickelodeon’s Victorious and Danny Araujo in A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story. Jogia rose to mainstream success for his roles in Twisted, Tut, Ghost Wars, and Now Apocalypse.

In 2011, Jogia served as a co-founder of the online organization, Straight But Not Narrow. In 2019, he published Mixed Feelings, his first book which has a series of short stories and poems about multiracial identity. Also, he hand-painted the drawings in the book. In collaboration with his father, they founded the band, Saint Ivory. The band released an album, also named Mixed Feelings, that goes with the book. Aside from singing, he plays guitar, piano, and accordion.

He is determined to clear his name and maintain a secret about who really killed his aunt.
