Ben Mezzenga Love Is Blind SN 8
Mezzenga appears on Netflix’s Love Is Blind SN 8, which premiered on February 14, 2025. Love Is Blind SN 8 follows singles who are all based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, the show explores whether people can form deep bonds and fall in love without seeing each other first.
Love Is Blind SN 8 features 32 single individuals an equal number of men and women hoping to find love. In this magnitude, they go on 10 dates within purpose-built “pods” where they can communicate with each other through speakers but cannot see one another. Initially, they are coupled in a speed-dating format but later can choose to have longer dates. If they form a strong connection, they extend a marriage proposal. Following the acceptance of the proposal, the couple meets face-to-face for the first time and goes on a couples’ retreat to spend time together and be physically intimate. Moreover, they meet other couples participating in the experiment.
Following the couples’ retreat, engaged couples move into an apartment complex together where they co-exist for three weeks. In this magnitude, they integrate into each other’s lives by meeting each other’s families and friends as well as learning more about their partners’ lives. During this time, they plan their weddings to be held at the end of four weeks. Last but not least, they decide whether to say “I do” at the altar and get legally married or to end the relationship. After each season, the show has a reunion special released after the final episode.
Mezzenga’s competitive nature is crucial in his intramural kickball league. However, he has still not won a championship title in the game of love. As a team player, he has developed a sixth sense of picking up when someone’s feeling left out. In this magnitude, he enjoys ensuring that everyone’s included.
