Bethany Reese is an American journalist working for 13News Now as a Daybreak traffic anchor. She joined the station in October 2019. Previously, she worked for WSMV as a reporter and producer.

Reese attended the University of Kentucky in April 2012 after completing ehr high school education. When she finished her studies in May 2016, she became a graduate and attained a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communications. During her time there, she served WLEX18 as an intern.

Reese works for 13News Now as a Daybreak traffic anchor. She joined the station in October 2019. Previously, she worked for WSMV as a reporter and producer. Although she is not a morning person, she has worked in early mornings from the beginning.
Reese served on the morning programs in Nashville, Tennessee, and Bluefield, West Virginia. During her time in West Virginia, she served as a morning anchor where she broadcasted various stories including several visits by President Trump before and following his election.
While reporting at WSMV, she enjoyed broadcasting the 2019 NFL draft. An ardent sports fan, she favors the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia 76ers, Nashville Predators, and all things University of Kentucky. Also, she loves anything food-related, to binge-watch Netflix and snuggle with her puppy.
Reese is writing a Christian book which she hopes to publish soon. She glorifies God for enabling her to return to her home state, Virginia. Additionally, she is excited to get familiar with the Hampton Roads community.
