Bill Froehlich is an American journalist working for WWTV as an anchor for Michigan This Morning and co-host of Good Day Northern Michigan since March 2023. Since August 2021, he has served the station as the assistant news director. He rejoined the station in October 2018 as a news reporter. This serves as his second stint with the station, having served the station from June 2010 to July 2017 as a reporter.

Froehlich joined DePauw University when he finished his high school education at Bear Creek High School. He later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts & Sciences with minors in Political Science and Secondary Education. After completing his internships, Froehlich joined WGRE-FM in January 1998 as a station manager. He worked there till July 1999 when he left the station. Next, he joined WLFI as a news reporter and a news anchor. In November 2001, he left the station and joined KPAX as a news reporter and fill-in anchor. He then joined WPBN where he worked as a news producer, anchor, reporter, writer, and political reporter for 8 years.
After working for WPBN, Froehlich worked for WTCM-AM and WTCM-FM in Traverse City as a host, news reporter, and anchor. He worked for Abiding Hope as the director of multimedia. After his stint there, he joined Colonial Life as an agency representative and benefits counselor.
During his career, he has won multiple awards for his reports from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. Also, he won an Edward R. Murrow Award. He has involved himself with the Special Olympics and the March of Dimes. Also, he has worked as a volunteer coach for Little League.
