Brad Brown Biography
Brad Brown is an American journalist working for WRTV as a sports anchor and reporter. He joined the station in June 2007 as a sports multimedia journalist. Previously, he worked for WANE in Fort Wayne, Indiana for more than half a decade.

Brown joined Ball State University in 1995 when he finished his high school education. In 1997, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree. During his time in high school, he started his broadcasting career when he broadcasted local sports for WIFF radio and TV7 in DeKalb County.

Brown works for WRTV as a sports anchor and reporter. Upon joining the station, he first worked as a sports multimedia journalist. Previously, he worked for WANE in Fort Wayne, Indiana from June 2000 to June 2007. There, he started as a production assistant, studio floor director, and Chyron graphics operator. Ultimately, he joined the newsroom where he worked as a morning and weekend sports anchor. Also, he worked as a producer for the Midday News for several years.
During his career, he has had the chance to substitute as an anchor on the morning show and did several feature reports. He co-anchored “Highlight Zone” where he broadcasted high school basketball and football airing on Friday nights for just about 5 years.
Brown works with the Miss Indiana Scholarship Organization. Since 2005, he has worked as a host and Master of Ceremonies for the Miss Indiana match. For nearly 2 decades, he has worked as a volunteer for several local organizations.
