Brad Rogers is an American Emmy Award-Wining News Reporter working at WGME 13 News. He has been working for the station since joining the team in October 2011.

He attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where he earned his BA in Broadcast Journalism. After graduating, Rogers started his reporting career in Texas. Rogers was also a news reporter in Tulsa and Minneapolis-St. Paul. He says “It’s great to be here at WGME, a place that cares about quality stories and the people of Maine.”

He is a veteran reporter who has covered everything you could imagine in his career. Most notably, he covered the Oklahoma City bombing and the trials of the two men convicted of the crime. Rogers was also on the news team that won a National Emmy Award for coverage of a U.S. Senator’s fatal plane crash. Additionally, he has received several first-place awards for general and spot news reporting.
