Breanna Rittman is an American Anchor and Reporter working for WMBD-TV in Peoria serving as a reporter and anchor. Before joining WMBD-TV in August 2022, she worked as a news feature writer at Gannett Network in Lakeland, Florida.

Rittman attended Beaufort High School in 2007, graduating with a diploma in 2011. While in high school, she was a member of various groups such as the Concert Band, Varsity Cheerleader, and National Honor Society. After high school, Breanna enrolled at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University where she earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2016. Additionally, she is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Iota Sweethearts, and the National Association of Black Journalists.
In college, Breanna worked as an office assistant where she helped with planning advisor workshops. Later on, she secured a position as a professional tutor working in the role from August 2014 to April 2015. In addition to this, Rittman also served as a student videographer, Campus ambassador, and football fieldhouse office assistant. Rittman works as an anchor and reporter at WMBD-TV in Peoria, Illinois. She joined the station in August 2022 working as a multimedia journalist before later accepting a position as an anchor and reporter in December 2023. Previously, Breanna worked as a news feature writer at Gannett Network in Lakeland, Florida. Before joining Gannett Network, she worked for the Gadsden County News Corp and Prority News, Inc. where she served as a reporter. Later on, Rittman secured a position as an internship coordinator at the same station working there from May 2021 to August 2021.
Prior to serving at Gadsden County News, Breanna worked as a career shadow at WTGS FOX 28 & WJCL ABC 22 in Savannah, Georgia. While there, she helped gather news and worked together with Frank Sulkowski who served as a sports director. Rittman began her professional career as a radio personality at WANM 90.5 FM in Tallahassee, Florida. During her period there, she hosted a show called “Jazzing with BreAllyse” which aired every Tuesday at 10 am. She served the station for more than a year from February 2014 to April 2015.
Breanna previously worked for the award-winning school paper, The FAMUAN where she served as a deputy opinions editor. She spent four months working for the newspaper station from January 2012 to April 2012. Apart from working as a journalist, Rittman is also the founder and owner of a website called Release with BreAllyse which was launched in January 2015. While there, she created her content and conducted interviews with entrepreneurs and business owners.
Breanna had early worked as a team member of Chick-fil-A-Franchise from March 2021 to June 2021. Before that, she served as an advertising sales representative at The Gadsden County Times in Quincy, Florida. During her tenure there, she came up with new advertising campaigns that fit the company. Previously, Rittman worked for Hyundai Motor Company where she served as a car Salesperson. While there, she guided customers through the sales process and developed center-setting appointments through cold calls.
Prior to working at Hyundai Motor Company, Breanna served as a certified correctional officer at the Florida Department of Corrections in Crawfordville. She served the company for more than a year from March 2018 to December 2019. Previously, Rittman worked for Iconic Group where she served as a
customer service representative for four months from May 2017 to August 2017. Early, she worked as a cashier at BI-LO, LLC from June 2010 to August 2012.
