He began his acting career in 2015 when he guest starred on ABC’s hit series “Nashville” as Sullivan Fitzgerald. Brennin filmed his first movie role as Marco Figueroa in “Walking With Herb,” which was written by Oscar nominated screenwriter Mark Medoff and stars George Lopez and Oscar nominated actors Edward James Olmos and Kathleen Quinlan.

The movie is set to release sometime in 2019, which will also feature Brennin’s original song “Can’t Hold a Candle.”

Brennin has also been pursuing his music career over the past decade earning his first major cut as a songwriter with “I Can’t Do This” recorded and co-written by Vince Gill and featured on Gill’s album “Down To My Last Bad Habit.”

He has independently released several songs that have generated millions of streams on Spotify, Apple Music and Pandora.

Brennin earned his first feature in “Rolling Stone Country” as one of the “10 Artists You Need To Know” in 2016. Brennin broke his foot on January 26, 2019 during a Saturday evening dress rehearsal. Fox had to make a last-minute switch to Rent after Hunt’s injury, and producers decided to air portions of the program pre-recorded.

The announcement was made after the first commercial break, with the entire cast grouped together on stage.

“Last night during our performance in front of a live audience, one of our cast members sustained an injury,” Vanessa Hudgens, who plays Maureen, explained. “A visit to the hospital confirmed that Brennin Hunt, our Roger, broke his foot and will be unable to perform tonight.”

Brennin Hunt, broke his foot during the Saturday rehearsal, appeared during the musical’s final scene with his foot — in a cast — propped up on a chair as he sang “Your Eyes” to Tinashe’s Mimi.

Then, after the show wrapped, members of the original Broadway cast including Anthony Rapp, Adam Pascal, Idina Menzel, Daphne Ruben Vega and Jesse L. Martin joined their Rent: Live counterparts onstage for another go at “Seasons of Love.”

The whole affair turned into a dance party, with Pascal and several other members of both casts making sure to hang out with Hunt, who had to stay stationary on the loft set due to his injury.
