Briona Arradondo is an American anchor working for WTVT-TV as a weekend evening co-anchor. Before joining the station in August 2018, she worked at WSMV-TV as a fill-in anchor and reporter.

Upon finishing high school, Briona attended Berry College in 2006 and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Spanish. After that, she enrolled at American University where she attained a Master of Arts in International Affairs and Journalism in 2011. She was also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and the Society of Professional Journalists.

Arradondo serves as a weekend evening co-anchor at WTVT-TV, the FOX 13 affiliate in Tampa Bay. She joined the station working as an anchor and reporter in August 2018 and later she secured a position as a weekend evening co-anchor. Earlier, Briona worked in Nashville, Tennessee as a fill-in anchor and reporter at WSMV-TV. She also filled in as an evening and morning anchor working there from August 2015 to August 2018. On top of this, Arradondo also appeared on BBC World News where she covered the deadly Waffle House mass shooting. She also reported the flooding across Middle Tennessee which she received a regional Emmy Award.
Prior to working at WSMV-TV, Briona served as a fill-in anchor and reporter at WTVC-TV NewsChannel9 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. During her time in Chattanooga, she covered exclusive news which earned her an Associated Press award. Arradondo began her broadcasting career in August 2011 working as a weekend reporter and anchor at WTOV-TV in Steubenville, Ohio. Before that, she interned at WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia from January 2010 to June 2010.
Besides moving to Atlanta, Briona worked for The American Observer as a producer, writer, and editor. As a writer, she was in charge of producing multimedia content, writing text stories, and shooting video stories. Later on, Arradondo was hired as an anchor, reporter, and producer at District Wire News from January 2011 to May 2011. From there, she worked for Cox Media Group as an intern for four months. During her time there, she conducted congress interviews and helped producers and reporters.
