Brittani DuBose Biography

Brittani DuBose is an American meteorologist working for WHBQ FOX 13 as a morning meteorologist since joining the station in July 2015. Previously, she worked for WCTV in Tallahassee as a meteorologist for 2 years.

DuBose joined the University of Tennessee in 2006 after finishing her studies at Collierville High School. In 2010, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Media Studies. During her senior year there, she worked as a weather forecaster at WABG in Greenville, Mississippi.

DuBose decided to pursue a meteorology career after a geography class renewed her interest in weather. In 2011, she joined Mississippi State University to further her studies, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological and Earth Science/Geoscience.

In college, she didn’t initially pursue a meteorology career, but returned to school for a meteorology degree after a geography class renewed her interest in weather.

After graduating from college, DuBose relocated to Tallahassee, where she served the #1 station, WCTV, as a weekend meteorologist. There, she provided coverage for weather like major flooding, tornadoes, ice events, and tropical storms. Additionally, she co-anchored the weekend morning shows. She is thrilled to return home in the 901 and hopes to have a positive effect on girls across the Mid-South.
