Brittany Flowers is an American journalist working for WOOD as an anchor of News 8 at 7 p.m. every weeknight alongside Storm Team 8 meteorologist Blake Harms since March 19, 2024. Before that, she served the station as an anchor of WOOD TV8’s weekend Daybreak broadcasts and as a weekend reporter since 2022. She joined the station in February 2021 as a Daybreak reporter. Previously, she served WLNS in Lansing, Michigan as a multimedia journalist.

Flowers joined Michigan State University in East Lansing in 2014 when she finished her studies at Jenison High School. In 2018, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Spanish. During college, she studied abroad in Europe and Puerto Rico.
