At the station, she was responsible for breaking, investigating, and reporting the news on multiple platforms as a reporter and anchor for WSOC Channel 9 Eyewitness News in Queen City. Prior to that, she was a Weekend Anchor/Reporter at KARK 4 News from July 2010 to March 2015. In that role, she was an in-depth coverage of city government, neighborhood, and environmental issues in the city of Little Rock, filling live reports of earthquakes, tornadoes, and other severe weather events for local and national television programs.
Also, she investigated nursing home abuse and residents’ rights violations in state nursing homes. From July 2009 to July 2010, she was a Reporter/Fill-in Anchor at KTVE NBC 10 where she covered economic development and environmental concerns in Northeast Louisiana and South Arkansas. She served as the fill-in anchor and producer for the two-hour morning show, NBC 10 Today. Brittney was a Special Reports Intern at KTVU Channel 2 News from September 2008 to April 2009. Also, she was a Student Journalist at the University of California, Graduate School of Journalism from 2007 to 2009. Moreover, she was a Health Intern at The Washington Post from June 2008 to August 2008.
