Brooke Katz Biography
Brooke Katz is an American anchor and reporter who is working at KTVT | CBS DFW (CBS 11) based in Charlotte Metro. She serves as the morning co-anchor of the morning newscast alongside Keith Russell. Katz took up her morning anchoring role in January 2022. In addition, she joined the CBS 11 team in August 2019, as a weekend anchor and reporter. Not long ago, she served as the 4 pm anchor at the station.

Katz is working at CBS 11 where she served as a morning co-anchor after previously serving as the 4 pm anchor at the station. Before she joined CBS 11, she worked at WCNC-TV from May 2015 as an anchor, reporter, and traffic reporter. Later in 2017, she was promoted to serve as noon and 4 pm anchor till July 2019. In September 2018, she began serving as the 4 pm anchor but later left the station in July 2019. In addition, Katz has also worked at WHAS-TV since November 2010, and while she was there, she served as a news anchor, traffic anchor, and reporter. She served as a reporter and producer at WCBD in 2008.
Before Brookes’s TV news career, she began producing and reporters in Charleston, SC. She went from there to Ludwig, Kentucky, where she reported everything from a catastrophic Kentucky Derby tornado outbreak. Brooke also played a dual role as an anchor and road reporter on his trip to Louisville. Furthermore, she is a passionate supporter of the Children’s Tumor Foundation, a non-profit pioneer in research into neurofibromatosis (GFD). In 2003, Katz joined Rutgers University where she graduated with a degree in Journalism and Media Studies as well as a certificate in Criminology in 2006.
