Carman serves as an anchor and reporter at KRDO NewsChannel 13 in Colorado Springs. Earlier, she served as a weekend reporter and anchor at WOI-TV Local 5 News in Des Moines, Iowa. While there, Brynn covered a wide range of news which earned national recognition. She also reported the catastrophic floods in Central Iowa which left thousands of people homeless and the murder of Mollie Tibbetts. On top of this, Carman also conducted interviews with prominent leaders such as Vice President Mike Pence, the 2018 American Idol winner from Clarksville, and Maddie Poppe.

Before working at WOI-TV, Brynn was a host at Rocky Mountain Student Media Corp. She also worked in other roles such as a reporter, anchor, and producer. Previously, she worked for FOX5 WAGA in Georgia as an intern from June 2016 to August 2016. Prior to working in Georgia, Carman spent three months working for Aspen 82 as a production intern from June 2014 to August 2014.
