Buck King is an American meteorologist who is working at KOCO 5 News. He serves as a First Alert storm chaser at the station. He helps protect people and brings critical information to save lives.

Oklahoma is his native home and he was brought up in Verdigris before he graduated from Claremore High School in Claremore. He has always been interested in weather storm chasing is his passion. In addition, he is also a career educator and as of the moment, he serves as a high school vice-principal in Woodward.

He has seen the impact that severe storms have had on his home community of Woodward with the deadly tornado of April 15, 2012, and its effect on his students and their families is one of his prime motivators. Furthermore, he is happy to be part of the KOCO First Alert Storm Team and takes pride in helping Chief Meteorologist Damon Lane as his eyes in the field.
