Bunga Citra Lestari who is also known as BCL is an Indonesian actress, singer, model, television personality, and talent show judge. She is well-known for My Stupid Boss (2016), I Miss You (2007), and Habibie & Ainun (2012),

Citra started her career on television as a drama actress. Then the role of the series she played was Bukan Perempuan Biasa, ABG, Senandung Masa Puber, Kala Cinta Menggoda, and Penjaga Hati. Later she moved on as a guitar and a film actress. In 2004 she started her music collaboration with PAS Band. In 2005 she recorded the single titled “Saat Kau Pergi” for a soundtrack album for the film Dealova. Then her album was a success and sold  75,000 copies in the first week.

The album raised her as a famous singer. She also raised her first album with the same title and then she got successful with her studio album. Later she raised her second film titled Kangen album in 2007. Then the soundtrack of this film was also taken from Bunga’s first album, titled “Mengapa Harus Terjadi”.  At the end of the year 2007, she did a duet with Indonesian singer, Ari Lasso in a single titled “Aku dan Dirimu”.This was her collaboration with Ari Lasso.

Bunga won the Award from the Indonesian Music Awards for  “Best Pop Collaboration”. She became a popular and famous singer in Indonesia and in neighboring countries. In  2008 she released her second album with her titled Tentang Kamu, She also produced her successful singles “Tentang Kamu” and “Pernah Muda”. In the same year, she also starred 2 films titled Adakamu sand Saus Kacang with her husband Ashraf Sinclair.
