Cameron Polom is an American Emmy Award-Winning multimedia journalist working at ABC 15 News. He joined the station in July 2017 and serves as a news reporter. Polom was previously working for ABC Action News in Tampa Florida.

Polom currently works at ABC 15 News where he serves as a reporter. Many people may already know Polom as this is a homecoming for the Valley. During the past four years, Polom was working for ABC Action News in Tampa Florida. Polom was the 2015 and 2016 Associated Press Multimedia Journalist of the Year. Thereafter followed a number of awards that he won for breaking news and local investigations.
Prior to working in Tampa, he reported for the NBC affiliate KSBY News in San Luis Obispo, California. There he won an Emmy Award for his breaking news reports while at the Calf Wildfire. He is a graduate of Arizona State’s Walter Cronkite School. In addition, he studied finance at Arizona State University. Before working as a journalist, Polom spent 6 years as a financial advisor for JP Morgan Chase working out of Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Tempe.
In 2003, he attended Arizona States University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in business in 2007, and later studied journalism at the same University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. During his leisure time, he enjoys playing golf, as well as hiking. He also likes laughing with friends, finding his way to the ocean, and also digging for his next story.
