Cameron Ridle Biography
Cameron Ridle is an American journalist working for WTTV CBS4/FOX 59 as a reporter and fill-in anchor since joining the station in November 2022. Previously, he worked for WRTV, an Indianapolis ABC Station.

Ridle joined Ball State University in 2012 when he finished his studies at Wayne Township Schools and Perry Township Schools. In 2016, he graduated with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and Telecommunications.

Ridle works for WTTV CBS4/FOX 59 as a reporter and fill-in anchor. His broadcast career started when he served on Indianapolis Radio One stations including WTLC-AM, WTLC-FM, and WHHH-FM. When he was 19, he worked with legendary broadcaster Amos Brown. Amos regarded Ridle as a ‘prodigy’ and even permitted him to work as his fill-in host on his popular show, “Afternoons with Amos.”
Ridle proved himself on the mic and got the search to serve 106.7 FM as an anchor during the “Tom Joyner Morning Show” as well as WTLC-AM during the “Yolanda Adams Morning Show.” When Radio One debuted a talk program, they called him to serve as a host to the station’s younger audience on “Indy Speaks with Cameron Ridle” on HOT 96.3 WHHH-FM. Over the years, the show gained a big audience and changed its name to “Open Lines with Cameron Ridle,” and has since developed to air on 106.7 WTLC and HOT 100.9.
After serving Radio One for 4 years, Ridle relocated to Saginaw/Flint, Michigan where he rose ranks from reporter to weekend morning anchor and eventually to weekend evening anchor. Also, he broadcasted the Flint water crisis. He then relocated to Phoenix, Arizona where he served KPHO and KTVK. While there, he won his first Emmy nominations and appeared on national TV.
Ridle then returned to Indiana where he joined WRTV. There, he led the broadcast of the civil restlessness in Indy after the death of Dreasjon Reed and George Floyd. He reported about residents who were cruelly moved out of the I-70 Mobile Home Park. As a result of the report, Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill sued the land owners which made the residents payment for their property.
