Henderson attended Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB Theater) where she learned improv comedy in 2018. After that, she joined Missouri-Columbia University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. She served the station for one year and seven months from April 2021 to October 2022.

Before working at Hearst Magazines, Henderson served as a TV host and content creator at Freelance from January 2013 to October 2022. She also hosted various shows such as the Winter Olympics and the Super Bowl. Earlier, she worked for LiveXLive Media as a festival host and music host from May 2020 to November 2021. Carly started her broadcasting career as an on-camera host at Adidas from May 2015 to June 2015. Later on, she was hired at MTV U in New York City as a personality camera and host. She also sat down with Hollywood’s biggest stars like K-pop sensations BTS, Kirsten Dunst, and Selena Gomez.
