Catherine Parrotta is an American Emmy-nominated journalist serving as a general assignment reporter as well as a fill-in morning anchor at Boston 25 news. She has been working for the station since March 2012. Prior to that, she worked as a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter for WGME-TV in Portland, Maine.

She also covered the investigations surrounding Aaron Hernandez, his arrest, and later, his prison suicide.
