Catherine Parrotta is an American Emmy-nominated journalist serving as a general assignment reporter as well as a fill-in morning anchor at Boston 25 news. She has been working for the station since March 2012. Prior to that, she worked as a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter for WGME-TV in Portland, Maine.

Catherine also served as a bureau chief in Lewiston for WGME aside from being an anchor. Her hard work and determination have not gone unnoticed for she has been recognized over the past decade by the Associated Press, and the New England Emmy Awards.

She also covered the investigations surrounding Aaron Hernandez, his arrest, and later, his prison suicide.
