Charles Stanley Biography

Charles Stanley is the Pastor Emeritus of Atlanta’s First Baptist Church, where he served as Senior Pastor for 51 years. He is the founder and president of In Touch Ministries, which broadcasts his sermons on television, and he served as president of the Southern Baptist Convention for two one-year terms from 1984 to 1986.
