Chase Landry is an American boat captain, Fisherman, Reality television star, and Businessman who is known for being one of a group of local people who hunt American alligators in the reality TV series “Swamp People“.

Landry and a few of his coworkers were the subjects of a History Channel docu-drama TV series called “Swamp People” in 2010. Since its debut in 2010, the series has grown enormously in popularity. It has aired 14 seasons as of April 2023, each with around 15 episodes. The last episode of season 14 premiered on April 27, 2023, on History network.

During the 30-day hunting season, the show follows Mr. Landry and his sons, Jacob and Chase, as well as a number of other alligator hunters. Alligator hunters must catch and/or kill enough alligators during the month-long hunting season to provide for their families for the rest of the year, so competition is fierce. The various hunting groups employ a variety of techniques that have been passed down through generations.

The show consistently breaks rating records for the History Channel and has turned the hunters featured on the show into celebrities. Troy’s catchphrase “Choot em” has even made an appearance on Swamp People merchandise.
